Round Force Sensor – FSR402

The FSR402 is a round force-sensitive resistor (FSR) that detects physical pressure, squeezing, and weight. As more force is applied, the sensor's resistance decreases, producing a variable analog output. While excellent for general force detection applications, it is not recommended for precise or linear force measurements.

Key Features:

  • Sensor Type: Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR)
  • Shape: Round sensing area
  • Force Range: 0.2N – 20N (or 0 – 5000g)
  • Output: Analog (Resistance decreases with pressure)
  • Durability: Tested up to 10 million actuations
  • Thickness: Less than 0.25mm
  • Response Time: Less than 1ms
  • Recovery Time: Less than 15ms
